I made this after learning about the holocaust in social studies. These are the genocides after the holocaust that stuck out the most to me.

How learning about the UN SDG has changed me

After investigating some of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals they have influenced me to save more energy.  To save more energy I have been unplugging devices when I am not using them and turning off the lights when I am not in the room. I do this because according to what i have learned from the Sustainable Development goals some people do not have enough energy like we do and we can help them by saving more energy. Also using up electricity burns fossil fuels which pollute the air. In the future to save energy I hope to put solar panels on my home to help keep the air cleaner and less polluted.

What I learned about the presidential election

Some things I learned through examination of election issues and the candidates are the following. One of the things I learned was that there are more than two candidates still running. Before I learned otherwise in class I thought the only candidates left were Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, but Gary Johnson and Jill Stein are running as well.  Another thing I learned was that there are political parties other than Democratic and Republican. Although they are the main political parties there is also Libertarian like Gary Johnson  and Green like Jill Stein.  Lastly I learned that even when you begin on one side of an argument you can easily be persuaded to join the other side through all the good reasons from the others that you didn’t see at first.

Why you should use both open and closed questions and google search tips

You should use both open and closed questions because both are equally important and have their own benefits. Open questions will have a more descriptive long answer. Closed questions are quicker and can be answered in just one word or a list.

You should use the Google search tips because the can be helpful and make searching for an answer more efficient and quick. For example the google operator “define” will quickly define a word or phrase for you so you don’t have to search through long articles. Also OR will search two different things at the same time to save you time searching.
